Creating an OSX bootable USB thumb drive For Computer Forensics Part 1

This blogpost started out as an aid-memoir for the creation of a bootable USB thumb drive and I thought I would share it as some may find it useful. There are several websites that mention how to do this but don't show the whole process, so I figured and I would put a document together.

In part 2 I am going to walk through the process of how to create a "trusted toolkit" using static binaries and a trusted command shell for capturing volatile information from a running Mac.
